State Rep. Craig Fishbein hosted a successful meet and greet event at the Wallingford Public Library Wednesday night where about two-dozen constituents were able to meet in a small group setting and ask questions on myriad topics and issues affecting the state. The nearly two-hour meeting covered diverse topics that ranged from the projected state budget deficit, illegal immigration and hunting law to prison reform, judicial services and raising the minimum wage, among others.
This was the first of many town-hall-style events Rep. Fishbein plans to host in the community.
