With more than a dozen volunteer firefighters looking on, Rep. Craig Fishbein presented an official state citation from the Wallingford legislative delegation honoring the commitment, sacrifice and service, and recognizing the recently dedicated North Farms Volunteer Fire Department Station 7 to North Farms Volunteer Fire Chief Tim Wall Monday night.
The brand new, state-of the-art facility is located at 864 North Farms Road and includes about 14,000 square feet of functional space while featuring shared and private spaces for the full-time and volunteer firefighters, a clean room to facilitate the laundering of fire gear and station laundry, bunk rooms for overnight crews, fitness room, stand-by generator in case of power loss and more.
