Rep. Fishbein Assigned to Public Safety and Security Committee in Addition to Current Responsibilities

The Connecticut House Republican Caucus on Tuesday announced that State Representative Craig Fishbein (R-90) was assigned to the Public Safety and Security Committee in addition to his current committee assignments for the remainder of the 2021-2022 legislative session.
Rep. Fishbein was reappointed to the Public Safety Committee, a committee on which he served during his first term in office, to replace a legislator who resigned in February. This assignment is in addition to his current role as ranking member of the Judiciary Committee, and as a member of the
Government Administration and Elections (GAE) Committee and the Environment Committee.
“I’m honored Representative Candelora appointed me to fill this position and I look forward to returning to one of my first committee assignments with Public Safety,” Rep. Fishbein said. “With so many important issues facing our state it’s imperative that legislators work together, and between committees, to pass laws that work best for everyone in our state.”
Rep. Fishbein also currently serves as Vice-Chair to the legislature’s Conservative Caucus, a group of 15 Connecticut legislators dedicated to the principles of limited government, economic freedom, and individual liberty.
The three-term legislator previously served on the Energy and Technology Committee, Public Safety Committee, Commerce Committee and Labor Committee.
