State Representative Craig Fishbein once again celebrated Read Across America Day by reading to students in two classes at Wallingford’s Highland Elementary School on Tuesday, March 4th. Rep. Fishbein read Paloma Wants to be Lady Freedom to first graders in Miss Allison Denya’s class and kindergartners in Miss Dana Marone’s class at Highland.
Read Across America Day is a nationwide reading celebration that takes place annually on March 2nd with the goal of sharing the joy of reading and promoting early childhood literacy with elementary school children.
