    The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the upgrading of guiderails along Routes 1, 59, 67 and 68 in the towns of West Haven, New Haven, Easton, Monroe, Oxford, Seymour, Woodbridge and Wallingford. The project also includes the removal of select trees that fall within clear zones along these routes.

    LANE CLOSURE INFO

    Work is scheduled to begin on or about April 18, 2018 and is expected to be completed around November 25, 2018.

    Route 68 (Wallingford) – Monday through Friday 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

    The contractor will be allowed to work during the following hours:

    U.S. Route 1 (New Haven)

    Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
    Saturday & Sunday 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m.

    U.S. Route 1 (West Haven)

    Monday through Friday 10:00 p.m. to. 6:00 a.m.
    Saturday & Sunday 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m.

    Route 59 (Easton)

    Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
    Saturday & Sunday 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m.

    Route 59 (Monroe)

    Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
    Saturday & Sunday 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m.

    Route 67 (Woodbridge)
    Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
    Saturday & Sunday 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m.

    Route 67 (Oxford)
    Monday through Friday 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
    Saturday & Sunday 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m.

    Route 67 (Seymour)
    Monday through Friday 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
    Saturday & Sunday 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m.

    Route 68 (Wallingford)
    Monday through Friday 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

    Ramps and Turning Roadways
    Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

    All Other Roadways
    Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. , 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
    Saturday and Sunday 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m.

    Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.
