Join State Representative Craig Fishbein (R-90) at this year’s Celebrate Wallingford and take a guess at a pumpkin’s weight for a chance to win a guided tour of YOUR State Capitol!

On Saturday, October 2nd, Rep. Fishbein will be set up near the Center Street entrance of the Holy Trinity School parking lot with a large pumpkin, talking with constituents and recording your guess. Do you have what it takes to analyze, scrutinize and hypothesize the true weight?  It might not be a giant but it’s harder than you think … are you ready to give it a shot?

AND, thanks to a generous gift from Wallingford’s Geremia Farm, children who stop by will receive a complimentary mini pumpkin to take home while supplies last. Each mini pumpkin is numbered and will be entered into a second drawing for a tour!

The 2 individual winners will receive a personal, guided tour of the Connecticut State Capitol and Legislative Office Building (LOB), including the 90th district office with up to four (4) guests.

    Non-perishable Food Collection

Rep. Fishbein will also be collecting non-perishable food to donate to local charities.

    Contest Rules:

    • NO purchase is necessary
    • Closest to the actual weight without going over (“The Price is Right rule”)
    • If multiple guesses are accurate, a single winning entry will be drawn at random from the correct guesses
    • Mini pumpkin winner will be chosen by random drawing from all eligible entries
    • Winner will be notified online or via phone or email, please write legibly
    • Tour will be scheduled at convenience of all parties and according to building rules
    • All decisions by the judges will be final

Geremia Farm is located at 413 Barnes Rd., Wallingford.
