    It was a great morning at Highland Elementary School picking up hand-made cards for our dedicated first responders in anticipation of Emergency Medical Services Week!

    This year, EMS week runs from May 18-24th, and several classes at Highland and Moses Y. Beach participated in this voluntary program. The theme for EMS Week 2025 is “We Care For Everyone” to emphasize the dedication and compassion of these brave first responders who provide care to individuals in all situations.

    Thanks again to Colleen Kovach for introducing me to her first grade class, and to Principal Banach for always being so enthusiastic and welcoming.

    I’ll be dropping these incredible cards off to Wallingford Fire and EMS very soon!
