It was just announced that the Chesprocott Health District will be holding two COVID-19 vaccination clinics for individuals 75 years of age and older from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 21, 2021 and Friday January 22, 2021 at the Cheshire Community Pool. These clinics are open to any remaining Phase 1A eligible individuals as well.
Eligible residents who wish to participate must be registered in the state Department of Health VAMS system. Eligible residents can register on the state Department of Health VAMS system at https://dphsubmissions.ct.gov/OnlineVaccine. An email address is required.
Once registered, residents can book an appointment. After 3:00 p.m. today, Tuesday, January 19, 2021, registrants can access the VAMS system to schedule an appointment at one of these clinics.
Those who can not register online can call 1-877-918-2224 Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Cheshire Senior Center and the Cheshire Public Library can provide limited tech support for those over 75 who are attempting to register on line. For assistance, call the Cheshire Senior Center (203) 272-8286 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. today, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, or the Cheshire Public Library (203) 272-2245 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. today, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
