On Wednesday, October 4th 2019, State Representative Tom Delnicki toured Atlas Metal Works in South Windsor for National Manufacturing Day. Rep. Delnicki was joined by the president of South Windsor’s chamber of commerce Mike Sanzo.

Atlas Metal Works, LLC is a sheet metal fabrication house serving the commercial market including general contractors, construction companies, O.E.M. manufacturers, and other large and small businesses, according to their website, https://www.atlasmetalworksllc.com/.

“On National Manufacturing Day, I had a great opportunity to visit Atlas Metal Works, which is located on Commerce Way in South Windsor. I learned a tremendous amount about the metalworking industry during my tour of the facility that employs 16 individuals. Small businesses are the backbone of our economy and we must do whatever we can to make it easier for them to succeed, grow, and become prosperous in Connecticut. I will continue to work tirelessly in the legislature to help make this happen,” said Rep. Delnicki.

“It’s wonderful to see small businesses that are thriving in our community given the tough economic times we are going through here in Connecticut. I am delighted that Atlas Metal Works calls South Windsor home,” added Rep. Delnicki.

National Manufacturing Day is held annually on the first Friday in October, Manufacturing Day helps show the reality of modern manufacturing careers by encouraging thousands of companies and educational institutions around the nation to open their doors to students, parents, teachers and community leaders.
