HARTFORD – State Rep. Tom Delnicki (R-South Windsor) joined Boy Scout Troop 186, along with Mayor Carolyn Mirek, American Legion Post 133, family and guests to honor Justin Coralli of South Windsor, who earned the rank of Eagle Scout.

During the Eagle Court of Honor held on Sunday, March 26, Rep. Delnicki presented Coralli with an official citation on behalf of the General Assembly, in recognition of his accomplishment.  Mayor Mirek also presented a proclamation from the Town of South Windsor.

“Justin is the third son in the Coralli family to become an Eagle Scout, which is an impressive achievement,” said Rep. Delnicki. “I wish Justin all the success in the world; his perseverance and dedication is worthy of acknowledgement.”

The Eagle Scout Rank is the highest rank attainable in the Boy Scout program of the Boy Scouts of America.  Since its introduction in 1911, the Eagle Scout Rank has been earned by more than 2 million young men.  The title of “Eagle Scout” is held for life, hence the phrase “once an Eagle, always an Eagle”.

“Our future is in good hands with fine, young people like Justin,” concluded Rep. Delnicki.

Requirements include earning a number of merit badges and demonstrating Scout spirit, service, and leadership. This includes an extensive service project that the Scout plans, organizes, leads, and manages.

Boy Scout Troop 186 – South Windsor, CT, is led by Scoutmaster Randy Olson.
