The Connecticut Department of Transportation has announced the installation of shoulder rumble strips on segments of I-84 westbound in Vernon, Manchester, and South Windsor, Route 72 in Plainville, I-91 in Cromwell, and Route 571 in Berlin.

The work will be performed beginning on Thursday, November 5, 2020, to Saturday, November 7, 2020.

Truck mounted attenuators, signing patterns and Connecticut State Police will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zones. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

Motorists are advised to remain alert, drive cautiously, and maintain a safe speed when driving in and near the work zones.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.
