Because the issues of crumbling foundations are critical to our community, I am writing to let you know that the Judiciary Committee will be holding an important public hearing on Monday, March 26th, at 10:00 a.m. in room 2C of the Legislative Office Building in Hartford.

One of the bills being heard during this public hearing is S.B. No. 518 (RAISED) AN ACT CONCERNING ADDITIONAL ASSISTANCE FOR HOMEOWNERS WITH CRUMBLING CONCRETE FOUNDATIONS.  I know this is such a critical issue for the residents in the 14th District. I want to make sure your voice is heard.

Click here to view a complete list of bills.

I encourage you to let your voice be heard. This is your chance to let the Judiciary Committee know your thoughts regarding crumbling foundations.

Click here for a guide to testifying at hearings and here for driving directions to the Connecticut State Capitol and Legislative Office Building.

You can also email testimony on any of the bills to judtestimony@cga.ct.gov.  Your comments can be as brief as you like, there is no limit on the length of written testimony. Just include your name and town, the bill in the subject line of the email, and copy my office at Tom.Delnicki@housegop.ct.gov.
