HARTFORD – State Representative Mark DeCaprio (R-48) enthusiastically welcomed $500,000 in funding for the Norton Park project in Colchester, which was announced earlier this month from the Connecticut State Bond Commission. Hartford– On Wednesday, June 7th, the 2023 Connecticut General Assembly Legislative Session adjourned. Earlier in the week, the 2024/2025 Biennial State Budget passed through the House of Representatives as well as the State Senate, marking the first bi-partisan budget since 2017. On Friday, April 21st, it was an honor to join Colchester First Selectman Andreas Bisbikos, Colchester Senior Services Director Patty Watts, State Senator Norm Needleman, Congressman Joe Courtney and others to celebrate the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Colchester Senior Center.
