Dancho Celebrates Read Across America Week

(STRATFORD) — State Representative Laura Dancho (R-Stratford) was happy to celebrate Read Across America Week reading to the students of Wilcoxson Elementary School and youth members of Stratford’s YMCA. Each year, Read Across America is celebrated beginning March 2nd, in remembrance of Dr. Seuss’ birthday.

Dancho said, “Not only did I enjoy reading with my grandson, Wesley, but I was so proud of how well-behaved and bright our students are. Thanks to our teachers and staff who support this tradition every year! Remember: today’s readers are tomorrow’s leaders!”
