(HARTFORD) — On early Tuesday morning, the Connecticut House of Representatives successfully passed the Biennial State Budget Agreement for Fiscal Year 2024-2025. Classified as House Bill 6941, the 832-page budget document was delivered to legislators’ desks at 3:00AM on Monday morning, giving representatives only a few hours to unpack all its details before casting their final vote.

Dancho Celebrates 50th Anniversary of Endangered Species Act

(BRIDGEPORT) — On May 19th, State Representative Laura Dancho (R-120), member of the Environment Committee, joined Senator Richard Blumenthal at Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo in Bridgeport, CT to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Endangered Species Act. The ceremony consisted of a brief award ceremony to commend the work of several zoo staff members and their projects that serve the expansion of habitats and preservation of endangered species, especially relevant to our state.
