HARTFORD – State Representative Jay Case (R-63) was informed on Tuesday, November 21st, that he had officially earned a one hundred percent voting record for the 2017 regular and special sessions. Since Case was elected in 2012, he has not missed a vote on the floor.

“In order to represent your views in Hartford it is imperative that I vote when given the opportunity to. I am proud to report to all of those in Colebrook, Goshen, Winchester and Torrington that I was present and voted in all 417 roll call votes held in the House of Representatives in 2017,” explained Case. “I also think this is a good opportunity to thank all of you who wrote, called, or e-mailed me with your legislative concerns. I consider everyone’s opinion before casting any vote.”

Case currently serves as Ranking Member to the Human Services Committee and is a member of the Appropriations and Internship Committees. The 2018 Legislative Session is slated to begin in February.
