Litchfield – State Rep. Jay Case (R-Winsted) spent part of his Thursday evening meeting with FFA students at Wamogo Regional High School. The students had exhibits displayed throughout the facility in order to showcase their participation in various agriscience and technology programs.

“The rural areas of the Northwest Corner are known for quality agriculture. This doesn’t happen overnight, it takes years to build traditions and seeing these skills, along with nuanced information, get passed down from generation to generation is encouraging,” said Rep. Case. “After speaking with many FFA students, I am assured that they will have a strongly positive influence on Connecticut’s agricultural industry for years to come.”

In addition to touring the facility, Rep. Case also had the opportunity to learn more about the FFA’s programs including the biotechnology, natural resources, plant science, veterinarian science, and sustainable food systems.
