    Torrington – On Tuesday evening, State Rep. Jay Case (R-Winsted) presented a legislative citation to Valerie Manor in recognition of their 35 years in operation. The facility offers a variety of services including short-term rehabilitation, long-term, respite, hospice, and dementia care to residents of Torrington and the greater area.

    “The administration and staff at Valerie Manor have done a wonderful job in building a quality rapport with the communities and clients that they serve. I commend them for their efforts in 35 years of community partnership and for the continuous delivery of critical health services,” explained Rep. Case. “The efforts of Valerie Manor’s staff have paid off, and I am confident that they will continue to serve us, and our loved ones, for generations to come.”

    In addition to offering a wide variety of health care services, Valerie Manor also is one of the area’s largest employers. The enduring commitment of the facility’s staff has created an environment in which patients and their families are continually satisfied with.
