    HARTFORD – Engineering students from Oliver Wolcott Technical High School made a trip to the State Capitol on Wednesday, March 27. The students had the opportunity to engage in the legislature’s annual “Manufacturing Day” that showcases job opportunities and programs available to Connecticut students who are interested in manufacturing.

    “I appreciated meeting with the students who made the trip out to Hartford from Torrington. Manufacturing is quickly growing industry within the state and the opportunities available to Connecticut students is rising. They had great questions for us when we met in the House Chamber. I wish them luck with the remaining months of the school year,” said Case.

    According to the school, 650 students are enrolled between grades 9-12. Oliver Wolcott provides students with an education that combines rigorous academic study and the excitement of learning a technology.
