WINSTED – State Rep. Jay Case (R-Winsted) coordinated a planning meeting in response to an uptick in complaints of speeding traffic down Main Street. The meeting was held between the CT DOT, local planning officials, and state lawmakers.
“Had a very productive meeting this morning with Connecticut Department of Transportation Commissioner Garrett Eucalitto, Town Manager Paul Harrington, and State Sen. Stephen Harding! We had an in-depth discussion about reducing speed along Main Street in Winsted to improve safety for everyone. In addition to that, we also explored some exciting opportunities for future projects aimed at enhancing safety and overall infrastructure in the area. Looking forward to the progress we can make together in the near future, stay tuned!” said Rep. Case.
