Case Celebrates Eagle Scout

Torrington – Boy Scout Troop 4 hosted a Court of Honor for Eagle Scout Jake Marino, of Torrington, on Sunday at Marino’s Restaurant. State Representative Jay Case attended the ceremony in order to present a legislative citation in recognition of Marino’s achievement.
“Jake has been an integral part of strengthening our community and he has done amazing work to earn his Eagle Scout achievement,” said Rep. Case, “Through his continued efforts, he has achieved the highest honor available from The Boy Scouts Of America.”
Marino completed his primary community project at Burville Cemetery by restoring the walkway, increasing accessibility to the historic landmark.
