WINSTED – State Representative Jay Case attended the ribbon cutting of the Joiner Building on the campus of Northwestern Connecticut Community College (NCCC) on Tuesday morning. The project, which conceptually began in 2008, was fully funded and put out to bid in 2015 through state bonding. “Through the collaborative effort of many stakeholders, the project has finally come to fruition for the start of the 2017 academic year. I firmly believe that it is a core function of our state government to ensure our students are afforded the resources they need to succeed in their secondary education. Joyner Hall now serves as one of the state’s most state-of-the art academic buildings offering over 24,000 square feet of cutting edge learning space,” concluded Case.
