Hartford – State Representatives Jay Case (R-63), John Piscopo (R-76), and Craig Miner (R-66), and State Senator Kevin Witkos (R-8) welcomed members of the Northwest Connecticut Chamber of Commerce to the Legislative Office Building on Wednesday, March 9th. The legislators met with the members, many of whom are also local small business owners, as part of the 2016 Connecticut Business Day at the State Capitol.

During the event, the legislators had the opportunity to discuss both the local and state business climates, including concerns about the state budget and recent budget deficit of $266 million for the fiscal year. The event was co-sponsored by the Connecticut Business and Industry Association (CBIA) and Connecticut Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives.
