    Exciting grant awards that have been recently announced by the governor’s office are paving the way for redevelopment and revitalization in our communities!
    ✅ Torrington receives $600,000 for the abatement and demolition of buildings at 70 North Main Street, with plans for new commercial/light industrial use and a possible on-site fuel-cell power source.
    ✅ New Colony Development Corp. secures a $200,000 grant to assess and plan the future of 100 Franklin Drive, eyeing residential redevelopment opportunities.

    ✅ Winchester lands a $200,000 planning grant for the Mad River corridor, targeting blighted industrial properties and creating a vision for a cleaner, revitalized future.
