Rep. Carney Named 2025 Legislative Champion by YMCA

The Valley Shore YMCA was the place where I attended daycare and where I first learned how to swim. It is a place that has done so much good for so many children, families, and seniors throughout the years.

I have always been a tremendous supporter of theirs and the countless things they do and offer to help strengthen communities. 

Last night I was honored to have been chosen as one of their 2025 Legislative Champion Award recipients. This recognition is truly an honor and one that I will remember for a very long time.

I want to thank Tony Sharillo, Valley Shore YMCA Chief Executive Officer, for nominating me and all of the volunteers and YMCA's around the state for your tireless commitment.
