Old Lyme to Receive Community Grant to Improve Safety

It was announced that Old Lyme has received an $800,000 Community Connectivity Grant for the Halls Road sidewalk project.

Funds received as part of the Community Connectivity Grants are designed to improve infrastructure initiatives that make conditions safer for bicyclists and pedestrians in urban, suburban, and rural communities. Grants range from $100,000 to a max of $800,000 and can only be used for construction activities.
