    The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a resurfacing project will be performed on Route 22 (Forest Rd.) in North Branford, beginning Monday, August 15. The project consists of resurfacing 4.11 miles of Route 22 (Forest Rd.) in North Branford. This project is scheduled to occur on Monday, August 15, through Tuesday, August 30. LANE CLOSURE INFO Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 22 (Forest Rd.) from the east junction of Route 17 (Middletown Ave.) to a .25 mile segment west of Route 80 (Foxon Rd.) and Route 22. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
