BRANFORD – On Sunday, September 29, State Rep. Vincent Candelora (R-86) was honored with the Patient Advocate for Life Award by The Connecticut Hospice, Inc. at a ceremony outside their facility in Branford. Rep. Candelora was awarded for his commitment to protecting the standards for end-of-life care for patients and support services for their families. The Connecticut Hospice, Inc. was the first palliative care organization in the nation and has been a leader in providing care for patients with advanced irreversible illnesses.
