H.B. No. 5314 would finally give all businesses, not just large corporations, much needed tax relief. This bill would use a portion of the unexpected revenue (“the surplus”) to pay back the federal government the money the State borrowed to pay off the unemployment compensation account, last year.
H.B. No. 5314 would provide $60 million in tax relief for all businesses. Thanks to our petition, we will have a
public hearing on March 11th at 2:00 in room 2C of the Legislative Office Building.
