Deputy House Republican Leader, State Representative Vincent Candelora (R-86) earned a perfect voting record during the 2018 legislative session. There were 317 votes taken this year according to information released by the House Clerk’s office. “I firmly believe in listening to my constituents and understanding their needs and concerns,” Rep. Candelora said. “For me to be effective as a state representative, I must first take the time to understand the communities within the 86th District, which is why being present for every single vote is a priority of mine. I am honored to be the voice of the towns of Durham, Guilford, North Branford and Wallingford at the State Capitol in Hartford.” Representative Candelora currently serves as a member of the Judiciary Committee, Public Health Committee, General Law Committee, the Legislative Management Committee and the Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committee.
