Deputy Republican Leader Vincent Candelora (R-86) this year achieved a perfect record during the 2016 legislative session.
Candelora, was present and voted for all 313 votes taken on the state House floor during the 2016 session, according to voting record data released today by the House Clerk’s Office. Perfect attendance is very difficult to achieve, with only about 32% of legislators able to do so this year.
“I take great pride in representing the people of the 86th District,” said Rep. Candelora. “I’m honored to be the voice of the people of Durham, North Branford, Guilford and Wallingford and I look forward to advocating on their behalf this upcoming session. I will continue to vote for what is most beneficial to my constituents and our communities.”
Candelora serves on the legislature’s Finance, Revenue and Bonding, Judiciary, Public Health and Regulations Review Committees. Candelora also serves as the Chair of the Screening Committee.
