On Tuesday, March 17, a public hearing will be held on Senate Bill 1090. If passed, this law could result in the creation of new casinos along I-91, I-95 and I-84. One of those casinos could possibly be built in a yet-to-be-named city in the southwestern part of Connecticut. DATE: Tuesday, March 17th TIME: 12:00 P.M. WHERE: Room 2B of the Legislative Office Building (LOB). HOW: Sign-up for the hearing will begin at 8:30 A.M. and will conclude at 10:00 A.M. in Room 3650 of the LOB.  Please submit 35 copies of written testimony to Committee staff from 8:30 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. in Room 3650 of the LOB. If you do not have prior experience testifying at a legislative public hearing, check out this link on the CGA website; it explains the process. http://www.cga.ct.gov/asp/Content/YourVoice.asp For those of you who cannot attend the March 17th public hearing you can submit written testimony in Word or PDF format by email to PStestimony@cga.ct.gov. The email may be as brief as you like. Make sure to put “Senate Bill 1090" in the email's subject line. Finally, please copy my office on the email. If you have additional questions, please contact my office at vin.candelora@housegop.ct.gov. Share this information with others. Let your voice be heard!  I'm here to help. Thank you!
