We will soon celebrate our independence as a nation this Saturday, July 4th.

This day is a wonderful opportunity to gather with our families and friends to watch fireworks and enjoy BBQs.

Along with the fun and festivities of this day, it is important that we set aside time for commemorating the reason why July 4th is recognized as a holiday: the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
This holiday is not just about fireworks and fun. Instead, while we gather this Saturday, let’s remember that the freedom we at times take for granted was earned. While we celebrate, we should also remember those who fought and those who continue to fight to preserve the liberty we so freely enjoy.
I want to take this opportunity to wish you and your family a fun, but meaningful Independence Day.
