    The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a mill and fill resurfacing project will be performed on Interstate 95 southbound from the Guilford/Branford town line to exit 54 (Cedar Street) starting on Tuesday, Sept. 5 through Monday, Sept. 25. No work will be performed from 6:00 a.m. Friday, Sept. 1, until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5, due to the Labor Day Holiday. This project is included in CTDOT’s 2023 Vendor Resurfacing Program. LANE CLOSURE INFO Motorists can expect lane closures on Interstate 95 southbound from the Guilford/Branford town line to exit 54 (Cedar Street) on-ramp. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is 7:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Sunday night through Monday morning. Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
