It's a time of great achievement in East Haven and I’d like to extend my congratulations to the many talented individuals in our area.
Congratulations to Carol Vollono and Brenda DePonte, of “Sugar” bakery in East Haven, won the Food Networks “Cupcake Wars” championship. If you want a taste of their award winning talents, you can visit their bakery on 422 Main St. in East Haven. Check out the New Haven Register to learn more about the contest and their bakery. Congratulations to The Dance Connection team of dancers who won World Show Dance Championships in Reisa, Germany. Dancers from 25 different countries around the world competed in the competition. The winning dance routines were choreographed by Linda Juliano of The Dance Connection. Congratulations to individual team members Samantha Bodnar, Maisy Land, Morgan Violette, Abby Jasinski, Madison Longobardi, Chloe Lange, Tyler Roberts, Melissa Bagnoli, Shawn Lesniak, Amanda Sullivan and Kelianna Bonn. Congratulations to the East Haven Youth Football Easties team for being the New England Regional Champions and finalists in the American Youth Football national championship finals.
