House Republican Leader Vincent Candelora on Wednesday released the following statement regarding nationwide concern over harassment and discrimination against Asian Americans:
“Despicable episodes of discrimination and harassment that are being described by our nation's Asian American community is behavior that cannot be tolerated. Those stories, and growing alarm from our friends and neighbors here in Connecticut, should cause each of us to reaffirm our opposition to such reprehensible conduct.”
