Today marks the beginning of the 2015 Regular Session of the Connecticut General Assembly. I am honored to join my colleagues in the state House and Senate as we are sworn in for a new term, and I look forward to serving you over the next two years.
As your state representative I will be working tirelessly to return our state to the economic prominence it once enjoyed and its residents deserve. I will be supporting common sense initiatives aimed at lowering our collective tax burden and improving our economy.
I want to make sure students who grew up here and studied here can find work here. I want to ensure that seniors who spent their whole lives working and raising families here will be able to afford retirement here.
With this said, my primary concern this session will be to help make Connecticut a more affordable place for young workers, families and retirees.
I encourage you to stay in touch with me during this session to let me know your thoughts on the issues we face. As a reminder, you can receive updates from me in a variety of ways throughout this session.
You can write to me at Vincent.Candelora@cga.ct.gov or call my office at 1-800-842-1423.
