State Representative Vin Candelora joined House Speaker Brendan Sharkey to announce the establishment of a bipartisan panel charged with helping cities and towns reduce their costs and increase efficiencies. The panel is a resurrection of the 2010 M.O.R.E (Municipal Opportunities and Regional Efficiencies) Commission that resulted in a set of new laws focused on encouraging regional cooperation.

"I believe we can achieve savings and efficiencies, whether it is at the state or local level, by focusing on some common solutions that make sense," said Deputy House Republican Leader Vin Candelora. " We have explored greater regional cooperation at the municipal level in the past but it is especially important now, given the state spending constraints towns and cities are facing."
