Bridge Maintenance, I-91 Northbound and Southbound in Wallingford

Hello Friends,
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-91 Northbound and Southbound in Wallingford.
BRIDGE MAINTENANCE PROJECT
The project consists of bridge maintenance to the I-91 Northbound and Southbound Bridge under Durham Road in Wallingford. This project is scheduled to occur from 8:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 16, 2014 to the morning of Saturday, January 10, 2015.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2014 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs and is being performed by Mohawk Northeast.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on I-91 Northbound and Southbound between Exit 14 (Rt. 150) and Exit 15 (Rt. 68) in Wallingford. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (Monday–Friday Nights).
No work will be performed on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 to Sunday, December 28, 2014, and Wednesday, December 31, 2014 to Sunday, January 4, 2015.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
