As many of us unfortunately know, this year the flu has been unusually aggressive as it spreads throughout our country and state. Because flu season still has a long way to go, please consider taking advantage of a local flu clinic taking place Tuesday, January 22.

This clinic is being hosted by Western Connecticut Homecare, formerly the Danbury VNA, in response to the continuing demand for shots.

The clinic, which is open to both adults and children, will take place in the Newtown High School Cafeteria from 4:00pm – 6:00pm on Jan. 22.

Please remember to wear short sleeves and bring your insurance card with you. Western Connecticut Homecare accepts the following insurance plans: Anthem/Blue Cross MultiPlan Network, Aetna Oxford, CIGNA Medicare Part B, and ConnectiCare Medicare Advantage Plus.

Proof of insurance coverage must be presented at the clinic and co-pays and deductibles may apply. If you are not covered by one of these insurers, payment may be made by check, cash, MasterCard or Visa.
