On February 28 the United Way held an event honoring first responders, educators, clergy and others who played an instrumental role in helping our community on and since the tragic Sandy Hook shooting. The keynote speaker was former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, pictured here with Reps. Bolinsky and Carter and State Senator McKinney, all of whom represent Newtown in the General Assembly.
