HARTFORD – Next week, the legislature’s Appropriations Committee begins its series of public hearings on the budgets of government agencies and departments. I encourage you to come and testify at any of these hearings and to have your voice be heard!
The Appropriations Committee will hold state agency budget presentations and public hearings from Monday, February 8, 2016 through Friday, February 19, 2016, to be held at the times and locations listed here – budget hearing schedule. More information about submitting testimony can be found at that link as well.
If you cannot attend one of the public hearings in person, you can still submit testimony electronically by emailing it in Word or PDF format to the Appropriations Committee at APPtestimony@cga.ct.gov. Please copy my office on your email so that I am also aware of your concerns.
