Newtown Legislators to Hold Flag Retirement Drive

NEWTOWN – State Representatives Mitch Bolinsky (R-106), J.P. Sredzinski (R-112), Dan Carter (R-2), and State Senator Tony Hwang (R-28) are sponsoring a flag retirement drive in cooperation with VFW Newtown Post #308 beginning June 1^st and running through June 13^th. Residents are encouraged to drop off their worn American flags at drop boxes at either Edmond Town Hall, 45 Main Street, or the Newtown Municipal Center, 3 Primrose Street. Collected flags will be brought to the VFW Post #308 for proper retirement.

Flags can also be dropped off throughout the year at VFW Post #308, 18 Tinkerfield Road.
