The Newtown D13 Cheerleaders gathered at Newtown Middle School to celebrate their national championship at the Newtown Cheer banquet ceremony.

On hand to present an official state citation and congratulatory letters were Newtown’s incoming delegation, Sen. Tony Hwang and Reps. Mitch Bolinsky, J.P. Sredzinski and Dan Carter.
