Bolinsky: Revised Hours For Lane Closures on I-84 East in Newtown beginning August 5th

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that the left lane of traffic will be closed during the hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. beginning Monday August 5, 2013 through Thursday August 8, 2013.

The additional daytime closures are required to allow for driving of sheeting for temporary support during excavation for the eastbound bridge over Center Street.

LANE CLOSURE INFO-

I-84 Eastbound between Exits 11 and 13

Left lane closure during daytime hours

Monday – Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The project is scheduled to be completed by April 2015.
