With snow and ice storms and temperature changes from bitter cold to seasonably warm, roadways across Connecticut are starting to show signs of damage. Frost heaves and potholes develop seemingly overnight and can cause delays, traffic incidents and, in some extreme cases, damage to cars and trucks.
In an effort to address these issues in the fastest possible way, the State DOT has a website for you to report potholes and other dangerous road conditions on state roads.
While the website link above only applies to state roads you can always contact the Newtown Public Works at 203.270.4300 for problems on town roads.
If you would like to discuss an issue related to state government, contact me at any time by calling 800-842-1423 or emailing Mitch.Bolinsky@housegop.ct.gov.
