Bolinsky: Make Your Voice Heard on More Gambling Casinos

On Tuesday, March 17, a public hearing will be held on Senate Bill 1090. If passed, this law could result in the creation of new casinos along I-91, I-95 and I-84.
One of those casinos could possibly be built in a yet-to-be-named city in the southwestern part of Connecticut. This would have a major impact on people who live in Newtown.
If you have thoughts to share about this bill, you can attend the hearing or submit written testimony.
To Attend the Public Hearing:
DATE: Tuesday, March 17th
TIME: 12:00 P.M.
LOCATION: Room 2B of the Legislative Office Building (LOB).
HOW: Sign-up for the hearing will begin at 8:30 A.M. and will conclude at 10:00 A.M. in Room 3650 of the LOB. Please submit 35 copies of written testimony to Committee staff when you sign up.
If you do not have prior experience testifying at a legislative public hearing, check out this link on the CGA website; it explains the process. http://www.cga.ct.gov/asp/Content/YourVoice.asp
