    Now that the Governor has released his budget, the Appropriations committee, will be having public hearings on his proposal. I am a member of the Appropriations committee and plan to examine line-by-line the budget proposal.

    The Appropriations Committee will hold state agency budget presentations and public hearings from Tuesday, February 24, 2015 through Friday, March 6, 2015, to be held at the times and locations listed here -Please check here for their budget hearing schedule.

    If you plan to testify at any of the state budget public hearings, please submit 30 copies of written testimony at the time of sign-up, but not later than 2:00 P.M. on the day of the hearing. Testimony received after the designated time may not be distributed until after the hearing.

    If you cannot testify at one of the public hearings in-person but wish to submit written testimony, please email your written testimony in Word or PDF format to the committee at APPtestimony@cga.ct.gov and also copy my office on the email, Mitch.Bolinsky@housegop.ct.gov.

    I do encourage you to check the General Assembly website, http://www.cga.ct.gov and click on the “Bulletin” to track any items you might be interested in.
