Bolinsky Announces State Foreclosure Clinics in Fairfield County

HARTFORD- State Rep. Mitch Bolinsky (R-106) is informing Newtown residents of newly scheduled Fairfield County Foreclosure Prevention Clinics as to educate those on their legal rights in Connecticut’s foreclosure process.
The clinics are open to any Connecticut homeowner facing foreclosure. No pre-registration is required and the clinics are free of charge.
The clinics will offer homeowners information about the judicial foreclosure and mediation process, guidance on how to prepare and what documents to bring to court, and information about resources available from the Connecticut Fair Housing Center. Each clinic includes presentations by a representative of the state’s Department of Banking and a foreclosure mediation specialist from the state’s Judicial Branch.
Each clinic will be held from 6:00pm -8:30pm.
