Rep. Aniskovich Named Outstanding Leadership in Government Affairs Recipient

Freshman Lawmaker Chosen as One of Two Recipients for Award

HARTFORD – State Representative Chris Aniskovich (R-35) has recently been chosen as one of the two 2023 Outstanding Leadership in Government Affairs award recipients by ManufactureCT for his support of the industry.

Representative Aniskovich joins State Senator Cathy Osten (D-19) as the two recipients chosen to receive the 2023 award.

“With more than 4,000 large and small companies here in Connecticut, we offer an abundance of skilled manufacturing jobs right here at our fingertips for the next generation of workers who are eager to either begin their careers or those looking to start a new one,” Rep. Aniskovich said. It is truly an honor to have been recognized for my efforts to not only enhance the types of manufacturing jobs we currently have, but the policies that promote and provide additional opportunities for their growth and expansion.”

ManufactureCT (formerly the New Haven Manufacturers Association) was founded in 1913 and is among the longest-running industry groups to serve manufacturers in the United States. The organization represents manufacturers of all sizes and across all sectors throughout the state of Connecticut with a mission to inform, educate, collaborate with and advocate for ManufactureCT members and our communities.

Rep. Aniskovich will be officially recognized during the organization’s Annual Celebration on October 4 at Anthony’s Ocean View in New Haven.
